On and On (and On)

In response to enquiries about the sign's current status: my eye in the sky (thanks again Lisa) tells me that the sign has been on at night the past few weeks. I have also asked ADM for an update on their plans for the sign and will post here as soon as I hear anything. If anyone else has any news please let me know.

Merci - j'ai aussi ecrit a ADM.

Merci à vous!

Also - I notice you have a background in aviation: one interesting component of my research on highrise signs is that they sometimes get used as semi-official markers for local flight paths (eg the CBC/Radio-Canada sign/tower and the final approach to Trudeau airport). Any thoughts/info on this?

Matt

I heard that too but I'm more on the legal than operations side so I'm not sure.

One thought - a pity the letters can't be re-arranged into Bourassa - just needs a new B and an A - then we could re-name it instead of Park, the city might then take it over, and everyone would be happy. Right? Er......
